Another customer milwiron experience I'll Be Buying More.
I’ll start by saying I’m not new to home security cameras having set up my first ones around 10 or 12 years ago. This is my second try with a completely wireless battery operated WIFI system. The first system was a famous brand with a base station. (not Amazon’s) One camera worked for 2 days and stopped, the second camera only showed a pink/red video feed out of the box. No amount of resetting, re-syncing or rebooting would fix the problems.
With a limited number but all positive reviews I decided to try the Meco camera. What a nice surprise!
These are easy to set up. One hint, when the instructions say reset the camera they mean use the included reset pin in the tiny hole next to the on/off switch. The camera might be on the a little bit larger size but it holds two decent size 18650 rechargeable batteries with excellent power storage.
The free CloudEdge app took a bit of getting used to compared to other camera apps but ultimately is simple and works well. CloudEdge would definitely benefit if it had the ability to set camera schedules for on-off or sensitivity during the day. Geo Fencing is another option showing up on other security cam apps that is very useful. There are no instructions with the app about how to download videos from their cloud service if you’re using it. I found while viewing videos on the cloud you can hit the record “button” and the video is downloaded and saved to your phone. If your phone has limited storage space move the files to your phone’s SD card. Of course no cloud service is needed if you install a micro sd card in the camera but having the cloud service is insurance against the camera and sd card getting stolen at the same time.
Picture quality is good and selectable between 720 and 1080. The Night Vision, 2-way sound and IR sensor are very good.
Overall a great value, I’ll be buying more.

This camera is beyond clear to see all that is going on. The camera comes on the minute anything moves and at night it is just as clear as in the day. The app that controls all of this makes it works so easy to follow. We played with it and now just have to figure out exactly where to put it. And all you do is plug in usb cord to charge it.

It is very easy to setup. The camera is heavy, which I like; because it gave me good quality feeling. 1080p is great on day time. Night time is a little blurry. I just need something simple to watch my yard when I'm not home. For the price, it has exceeded my expectation. Battery life is great. I used it a lot for the past week, it's new too me, so i connect to it a lot from my phone. Play with different features and testing it out. and the battery is only down by 1 bar out of 5 total.

I needed an additional outdoor camera for extra security. I have a doorbell camera but wanted something that would also get the driveway where the cars parked. This camera is wireless and simple to install where you want it. It comes with the mounting hardware. It works with the cloudedge app so my husband and I can each check it from our phones. It picks up motion day or night and automatically starts recording. It gives me piece or mind and I like that it's rechargeable and waterproof so the elements arent an issue.

For a sample I put it on the metal of my vehicle frame inside the car.As a motion detector that you can get notification on your phone. Can't beat the price. I am going to definitely buy some more of these.

Put it on the wall few days! And the battery still working good. Also it tell me anyone who in front my house i can see them and talk them on the app if i am not in the house. It is fun and good for protect our house !

I bought my house last year and one of the first things I got was a video doorbell. I needed not only a doorbell because the one here didn't work but also wanted a camera. I decided to look for a reasonably priced one for my driveway instead. I spent 2+ hours going through the wireless (battery operated) cameras on Amazon. I decided on this one because it uses two 18650 batteries which I have extra and rather than taking it down to charge and not having a camera for a few hours, I can just swap out the dead batteries with charged ones. Anyway, this is a nice camera & you can't beat the price. It records in HD or SD, daylight & night vision. The camera is very easy to set-up. I did have an issue at first. It wouldn't connect to my Wifi (2.4GHz wifi, split from 5GHz) and I couldn't figure out why since I was 2 feet away and have 1GB+ internet speed. When I checked the help section about connecting, it mentions that you should have a password "without any complicated special letters" which mine did. So once I changed my Wifi password to something without symbols, it connected right away. The only downside to changing the PW was I had to reconnect all the smart home devices like my Echo's, smart plugs, thermostat, doorbell, etc. I drilled a hole for the magnetic ball mount and hung it first that way. It seems like it holds but made me nervous that if something hits it that it will fall off. So, I drilled other holes for the screw on the mount and used that. If it is too frustrating to take down to change the batteries out, I may use the magnetic mount but for now, the screw mount is good. Overall, I'm liking the camera and will be ordering another to put out front as my doorbell doesn't cover my patio with the mailbox in the way.

I got this to watch my dogs outside. I have a Boston Terrier that is having a heck of a time potty training and will fake going to the bathroom just to come inside. I got this so that way I can see her without having to stand next to her all the time. Teaching her that independence. This is so helpful.
