 The pen works well. Meets almost all of my expectations. The picture quality is also decent, given the camera is very, very small. Battery life seems to be ok. The control scheme is difficult to figure out as there is only 1 button to control every function. You must use the user manual and remember the button press combinations. I've included a video to show picture quality outside on a sunny day.

Pros:
- Looks exactly like a pen, side by side. No bulk added, blends in very nicely.
- Only way to distinguish between a normal pen and this pen is to examine the camera, or the indicator lights.
- Picture quality is decent. 1080p.
- Sound recording is also decent.
- Comes with many extra ink cartridges! You'll never run out of ink.
- Usable like a real pen, without recording.

Cons:
- Because of 1 button control, the control scheme is somehow difficult to remember.
- Must use the user manual a few times to remember how to control recording.
- Picture quality could be a bit better, but that would require a larger camera and would be obvious.

This “spy pen” is better than the record app I have on my Apple Watch or iPhone, as I can actually use the pen, and no one knows I am recording! It’s the best of both worlds! Really Impressed with the sound quality and range this little devise has. I am a little scared that I’m going to leave it somewhere. You can't tell it’s a recording devise at all. I can plug this right into my USB in my car and listen to the recordings very easily.

Purchased this for my boyfriend who is a history teacher. He really enjoys teaching the cold war to his students and has been wanting a spy own or spy items for the kids to get hands on. I found this one at a very reasonable price. I unboxed it and checked it out before giving it to him. I love pens in general and think this writes smoothly. It even comes with extra refills. The charger is inside the pen. You really can't tell the difference between this and another pen at all. I am happy with the pen and might have to order another to keep myself. :)

This is a great camera and does everything as advertised. The video is really clear and captures the audio perfectly. Whether you are trying to catch someone in a lie or just curious about something, it is almost impossible to notice that this has a camera / video recorder in it. It is very easy to use and comes with extra refills so you don't run out of ink, which renders it worthless basically.

Please check one. You will be amazed at the quality of the pen, the camera, and the video!!!

What a cool little device! I’m a sucker for any spy camera or nanny cams or any little secret devices . The technology always amazes me. This pen is about the same size as a normal pen (see photo)-like you would literally never know that this pen can not only write and look like a normal pen BUT also record conversations and take video. Relatively inexpensive fun! The instructions were easy to understand. The recording and audio is decent. Make sure you don’t move the pen when you are using it for this or the audio/picture quality won’t be as good (obviously). Overall-I’ve has a lot of fun with it since I’ve had it.

This is cool spy pen. Gave it to my son for fun and he is having a lot of fun. The camera is well hidden. The sound and picture quality is pretty good. You can access the video through USB. Very well done and can be useful for many things.
