Reading other reviews, I figured this was at least a bit of a "crap shoot." Happily, I found that this is a great camera! It is very easy to install, very easy to use and control via the free smartphone app, and has given me great peace of mind when I need to leave my dogs at home alone for a bit.
The two-way audio comes in handy when I have "dog sitters" in to care for my fur-boys. We can talk to each other and the dogs can hear my voice as well.
I have had this since August 26th, and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about it!

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. Let me just start by saying that I have another camera exactly like this one only 720p. The camera is easy to connect to but be sure you have 2.4 and 5g WiFi, this will only connect to 2.4. Once set up the camera connects to your app on your phone and you can speak, view, and hear what’s going on. You can also move the camera view around. I’m pleased with the product and the picture quality is pretty amazing. I haven’t tried recording with either device. But for my needs, I just want to be able to check in on my dogs while I’m gone and make sure there’s no noise or bad behavior. I definitely recommend the product.

Purchased 2 cameras to teenage proof my house. If you have a teen that sneaks out then this is the product for you! Took 10 mins to install. Picture quality is amazing and it has a wide view. I can move the camera in all directions remotely from my phone. I like that I can talk to my dog, he’s blind and hearing my voice is comforting. Great product. Feels well made. I’m definately going to buy a couple more.

Before this camera i bought and returned two other pet cams to watch over my pet Corgi. The first was not too bad, but later realized the app for the iphone would not work outside of the house because it only worked on local wifi. The second camera works outside but had horrible video lag even though the wifi signal was strong. This camera works great. The app is superb, it allows for outside the house viewing and no lag at all. It even shows how much data size is being transferred between the camera and the router. The larger the number the smoother the video. A really great and useful feature. Finally somebody knows what their doing over there. I highly recommend this video cam.

I purchased this camera specifically for the 360 degree viewing capabilities, as well as the two-way microphone/speaker. I am able to view my dogs in high resolution, and speak to them in real time (JIK they are getting into any trouble). It was very simple to set up and works wirelessly with my internet connection. I downloaded the app on my phone, and it does everything I expected. I am very happy with my decision to make this purchase and I'm relieved that I picked a winner. There are so many options out there - making it difficult to choose. I am planning to purchase additional cameras for other areas of my home, and when I do, I will purchase this one.

Great camera, very good quality and very easy to install. Took it out of the box, plugged the USB and Ethernet connection (both cables included), downloaded the app on my iPhone and followed the steps to add the camera. We use it at home to keep an eye on our dogs when we’re not there. Will be buying another one

I’m so happy with all the aspects of the camera and it was completely within my budget! No problem with my WiFi connection or the installation- step by step app walks you through. You do have to instal several updates once connected, but that’s not any different to purchasing any new electronic device.

This camera is great with the ability to rotate the view and talk for a great price. It worked great for a week and had a hiccup with connectivity to WiFi but after resetting the camera and reinstalling it it works like a dream.

This is my 2nd purchase of this camera. Incredible the ease of setup (connect via Ethernet first, then wifi will connect. Long Ethernet cable included) and the quality of the picture. MIPC app is very easy to use on an IPAD. 2 cameras show each individual view in the app. Cannot go wrong for the price. I use it to monitor my dog/cats when away from home. Pic is very clear for 720p. They also offer a 1080p -maybe the next one for me.
